FAQ of Bifacial Solar Panels
Q1: How much additional power generation for bifacial solar panels?
A: Finergy bifacial solar panels can help you get extra power generation from rear side. The additional power gain depends on the albedo of materials on rear side, up to 25% additional power generation gain from the rear side.
Q2: Because of dual glasses, is it too heavier to move?
A: For bifacial solar panels with dual glasses from Finergy, both glasses are 2mm thickness, totally 4mm. But for normal solar panels, the glass is 3.2mm thickness. In this case, it's only 4kg heavier.
Q3: Where to install bifacial solar panels best?
A: Finergy recommends customers to install bifacial solar panels with dual glasses on ground mounted and floating solar PV stations. For ground mounted PV plants, you can obtain 9% additional power from rear side on sand ground. For floating solar PV stations, glass is much more dependable on life time. Besides this, you can get 5% additional power from rear side of water.
